This thing is forming west of Africa and is not yet a hurricane. It will hit the gulf of Mexico somewhere between 10-14 days. It is too early to determine where it will strike with any degree of certainty, but early projections are for it to be going over Cuba, then moving north.

Living in that area seems to be a constant risk of being hit by hurricanes, particularly now when the weather has become more unpredictable.

It is at present a tropical storm and will be a full blown hurricane by Thursday.

Hurricane Oscar still a tropical storm is brewing around the Yucatan and is expected to slam into central America in a few days, a week at the most.

They are now saying that because storms are more intense than they once were, that we now need a cat 6 designation.

Hello! I was talking to my mother about how many more hurricanes will be heading our way. I saw at least they posted at least 14 hurricanes brewing... I would not want to be in that state right now then again now that it is unpredictable where it might head out, looks like Fla is drowning.  |

Hurricane Oscar will be hitting Cuba either today or tomorrow. They have been without power over there for 2 days, as their aging power grid has collapsed. They are in for a tough time.

no it is not... I saw the hurricanes on screen as they are predicting 14 coming toward the USA. I think some may fade back into the sea. Let's hope so!
