Looks like another storm is about to hit Fla... Man I would not want to live there with all of those hurricanes coming in! I heard 13 more will be coming in... not sure if that's true. but wouldn't want to be in the middle of all of that! I hope they are all safe and get out of there and find a safe place to go. I have a friend in Florida and they are sick of it. Home insurane has gotten so expensive that a lot of people simply can no longer afford it. So if their houses get flattened they are done for. All FEMA will do is to give you a bit of money to keep you going for a few months. Then they will wash their hands of you.

I didn't know about the FEMA part, I can't say I'm not surprised. They will help everyone else but .... I thought about moving to FLA.. but then again.. I'm like ... nahhhh I think I'll pass. I think about Texas a lot and TENN and or even Ireland. the hurricane hit here in Georgia several years ago and it did a lot of damage... its unreal!

Up where I am there are no hurricanes. We instead have to deal with wildfires and avalanches.

ohhh that's bad, do you guys get a lot of wildfires where you are located? Yes, in fact back in July my town was put on evacuation notice and the fires came within 2 miles of where I live. The sky was an orange color and you couldn't see either the sun or the clouds for about 2 weeks. The town of Jasper which is a few hours drive NE from here, had half the town burn down.

My friend's car was affected by Helena's flooding and isn't running right, plus she recently had surgery and can't travel.
