I like small forums because the admins are highly motivated to have their forums grow. Because of this they tend to place high value on their members. Added to that they are usually open to new ideas on how to attract and keep members.
I have had a number of forums here on ProBoards and also on Xenforo. My last forum was 'Wicca's Cauldron' where I went under the username of 'Wicca'. Before we shut it down we had 80 members. Too much work, too much of my time, and of course all the behind the scenes politics, and having to deal with troublemakers. Believe me when I say that it was a relief to let it all go, no regrets.
I willl try to contribute here when I can. I work from home via my pc so it will be an easy task for me to drop by here.
