There are more than 300 sign languages used around the world, and some estimates say the number may be closer to 400. Sign languages are natural languages that are distinct from spoken languages and use physical movements to communicate. They have grammar and structure rules, and they've evolved over time. Sign languages vary from country to country, and even within countries, there can be regional accents. For example, Chinese Sign Language (CSL) is used by millions of people around the world, making it one of the most popular sign languages. Sign languages are used by more than 72 million deaf or hard-of-hearing people, and for many of them, sign language is their main way of communicating. Deaf people often want to use their sign languages in education, government, and other settings, but they live in a world that's dominated by spoken languages. There is also an international sign language that deaf people use in international meetings, and informally when traveling and socializing. However, there's no universal sign language that can bridge the communication gap between all deaf communities. Amazing isn't it?! check out the map here CLICK THIS
