Okay this is a little DYK this info!? Here's a doozy.... The human body has between 206 and 213 bones, depending on the individual. The exact number can vary due to natural anatomical differences, such as the number of ribs, vertebrae, or digits a person has. Babies are born with around 270 bones, but many of these fuse together as they grow into adults. Some of these bones are made of cartilage, which is soft and flexible. During childhood, calcium helps the cartilage grow and slowly replace itself with bone, a process that's usually complete by age 25. After this, bones stop growing and reach their maximum size. wooo hooo!
