I have added a color Smear button what this does it runs two colors from beginning to end.. like this...

prickleback... hello... I tested the smear color... it seems ok... but teh smear color doesn't work with quick reply? any idea why?

No. It could of course be a plugin issue and I wonder why the button suddenly grew large on me...
good question.. I have no idea. it looks fine on my side. it's the same size as my other buttons... can you phot it so I can see?!

This would likely require reproducing the issue to identify the cause. Could you tell me what browser you are using and what version? If you have browser add-ons/extensions, that might help to replicate it. If you could also divulge the operating system and version, that might also help.
You can quickly rule out browser extensions by viewing the site in incognito (aka privacy mode) to see if the problem still occurs (this mode disables extensions by default). If the problem disappears, you can disable each extension one by one in normal browser mode until you identify which one is causing the issue.

It's huge in Chrome (version 128.0.6613.113), Edge and Brave, but normal in DuckDuckGo.
Edit 1: I disabled all the extensions in Chrome, but no change.
Edit 2: My operative system is Windows 11 Home version 23H2.

We could first try changing the image for the button inside the plugin, replacing it with this: storage.proboards.com/6648049/images/ZScfkWuTWIAkEaYIpFvP.png  All four of those browsers use the same Chrome/Blink engine under the hood, and unless you have the same extension installed in all of them, we can rule out extensions. Since I am also using Chrome but on Windows 10, it might be that Windows 11 is the deciding factor. If someone else using Windows 11 can verify the same issue using one of those browsers, that could become the area of focus. If that is indeed the case, I unfortunately do not have access to a Windows 11 system to prod and poke and discover why. If it is an external program such as an antivirus, temporarily disabling the program to test that hypothesis should be easy enough. |

I try to use the color smear in my quick reply, it wont work... but it will work in my regular formatted reply. Is there a reason why ? I check in the plug in to apply for the quick reply but its not working?
